Q. Will I receive an exact replica of the pictures shown on the website?
A. Yes for Stock Paintings, all the images you see are taken off the exact painting and therefore will be exactly as you see (minus any computer screen distortion). Bespoke Paintings are slightly different, as they are made to order there could be slight differences. Every effort goes into getting the painting as close to the original as possible, but as these are hand painted, there will be small variations making each piece unique (surely a good thing!).
Q. In what condition are the paintings provided?
A. All paintings are provided Gallery wrapped, unless requested otherwise. Each painting is carefully wrapped on wooden stretcher bars (either 0.7 or 1.5 inches deep) and tensioned using plastic stretching wedges. The reverse of the canvas is then finished with white cloth tape to hide staples and protect your wall.

Q. Do you have any other mounting options other than gallery wrapped?
A. All paintings are delivered gallery wrapped, with the exception of Photo to Canvas which can be purchased non-wrapped. This is designed to make things simpler, however if you would like your painting non-wrapped, enter this within the Comments field during your order.

Q. Can I change the size of the painting?
A. Whilst we try to offer as many standard sizes as we can, should you require a different size please Contact Into Gallery with your requirements.

Q. How can I hang my painting?
A. The most simplistic method is to use two screws / nails, however beware of the type of wall you are fixing to as different walls will require different fixing methods. The screws / nails allow the painting to sit flush against the wall. However, we also offer a special hanging kit should you require a more secure fit. If in any doubt, please contact your local hardware store.

Q. When my canvas arrived, it seems quite slack and baggy?
A. This is nothing to worry about. As the canvas is a natural material it can become malleable during the hot and cold temperatures experienced during transit. Simply get a water sprayer or small paint brush and either spray or brush the back of the canvas with water (don’t soak, just dampen!). This should tighten the canvas up.

PHOTO TO PAINTING
Q. If I send an image in the post, will I get it back?
A. Of course, we send all photos back with the finished canvas.
Q. Can I see the finished painting before it’s sent?
A. Yes, once our artist has finished painting we will email you a photo to approve prior to shipping.
Q. Can I request any amendments to my picture?
A. Yes, we can remove backgrounds, eliminate blemishes and make minor amendments. Just enter your requirements in the Special Request box during your order.

Q. Why do you ask me to name how many figures are in the painting?
A. We only request this for people and animal portraits. Each additional person in your photo adds a significant amount of time for our artist to complete your painting. We therefore have to charge extra for this, although this is only necessary for main figures, not for undetailed figures in the background.
